the pacing is SLOW slow, and then the ending had me like “...THAT’S IT???” but honestly, it’s still a pretty good watch if you’re looking for something light and relaxing. not exactly my type of show, yet somehow i still finished it in a day, so take that as you will 🧘🏻♀️
it reminded me a lot of the summer i turned pretty, except this time she kinda chose summer and i’m not mad about it at all..? i also appreciate that it didn’t turn into a full-blown love triangle because i’m kind of tired of those at this point. what i ended up loving the most was the bond between all the characters. i’m forever a small-town story lover :3
i really liked how the show connected moments from the past and present, but i’d be lying if i said it didn’t confuse me sometimes 😮💨 then again, that might just be a me problem because i’m slow as hell. i wouldn’t necessarily call this a super easy watch because the timeline jumps around a lot and there’s quite a bit of back-and-forth, so i definitely had a few moments of “WAIT... WHY ARE WE HERE???”
overall, it’s giving summer. it’s fun, cute, nostalgic, and somehow leaves you with that feeling of wanting a summer like theirs—one filled with the same people, the same traditions, and the hope that nothing ever changes. it’s a very comforting show in that way :(
and i have a feeling there’s going to be a season 2 since the books have a sequel. i really hope it gets the green light because man... that ending was NOT enough for me 😭

This series was awesome, i liked it more then off campus cs i feel like this has more depth. The story line was good i do infact not like the fact that they didnt put some parts of the books in. Like the part where sam had already forgiven percy and known the whole time. Alot of these things wouldve added more depth
