Gregg Araki has the best music taste ever and I really like how even though MTV didn’t pick it up Gregg still used some of the characters as inspiration for the characters in Kaboom + loved the James Duval cameo ofc

in terms of pilot standards this was outstanding. the potential this had is crazy, within the sea of 2000s teen dramas this would’ve been an exceptional stand out. it balanced drama and comedy in Gregg Araki’s fashionable and innovative fashion. I also loved the soundtrack and visuals! This deserved at least 4 seasons
