Quando eu vejo esse tipo de conteúdo eu entendo por que o true crime pode ser um gênero que foge do sensacionalismo fácil. Assim como o “Caso Evandro”, “Pico dos Marins” e outras boas tentativas de contar histórias de crime reais, aqui o foco não é em transformar assassinatos reais em um mistério; é de dar voz à vítimas que foram esquecidas - e até culpabilizadas - ao longo dos anos.

Gosto muito também dessa prática de adicionar um episódio posterior, falando sobre as reverberações da série na vida real. Sinceramente, sem isso, não sei se teria curtido tanto. Parece que justifica um pouco a exposição dessas pessoas que ainda sangram 30, 40 anos depois das tragedias. Enfim, acho que vale assistir.

I found the inclusion of the original filmmaker as a character unnecessary. Running out of steam by the time it crosses the finish line, but some really heartfelt interviews. My heart breaks for the former detective who clearly still carries this case with him. I hope that he, and more importantly the families, will know peace.
