I wasn’t born when 9/11 happened, but everyone who lived through it has always described how deeply traumatic and life-changing it was. I also didn’t realize it took so long before Osama bin Laden was finally found, which made the series even more fascinating.
Despite how complex the subject is—terrorist networks being asymmetric and spread across the world—the documentary explains everything clearly and intelligently. AL‑Qaeda isn’t an easy topic to grasp, yet the series makes it accessible without oversimplifying.
I’ve already recommended it to several people. It really made me want to watch more documentaries about 9/11 to better understand what happened and why it changed so much.
