The show wasn't bad at all (I liked it till the 6th episode) cause it's true it isn't a documentary but it could be done better than this, and it's not Charlie's fault, he's amazing here and he has done one of his BEST roles.
I think they tried to do a criticism of people who used Ed's story for movies but this criticism doesn't make senses if the show does exactly what it criticizes. I mean, there are a lot of things invented that makes Ed be a worst person than he really was, for example, he was a good babysitter (a fact that would've improved the disturbing side of Ed) or he having sex with dead people, what was actually investigated and it wasn't true. So it doesn't make senses to spend two whole episodes humanizing this man if you literally invented his whole story for worst. (In my opinion, Ed was a sick man that wasn't aware of his actions)
In conclusion, that's why you cannot do a criticism of cinema industry taking advance of this story cause you're doing the same thing.
I have to watch Dahmer's show to say which one is my favorite, the one I liked the most was the Menéndez brothes one for now, although I personally loved Charlie's acting, I hope he'll win some awards, GIVE THIS MAN AN EMMY PLEASE 😭
