Everyone needs to check this out. One of my favourite iterations of the Creature and it is very faithful to Mary Shelley's work. Luke Goss' performance was deeply heartbreaking, but so beautiful. It deserves a lot more praise than it gets.

Es efectivamente la adaptación más fiel a la novela de Shelley, la que sigue más de cerca la historia y atinando bastante en la caracterización de la Criatura. Eso por desgracia no significa que sea la mejor.

Por cada interpretación sólida hay otra que peca de insulsa, la falta de medios general no ayuda y resta fuerza a un conjunto cuyo ritmo renquea y que peca tonalmente de melodramático en exceso pero con la paradoja de que algunos de los momentos más intensos de la historia se sientan extrañamente descafeinados, y diría que se intentan blanquear las acciones/decisiones de Víctor. Y sigue habiendo cambios por aquí y por allá que aun siendo menores deslucen algo el conjunto.
