The Power of Myth
Life changing. I have read probably two dozen books in the last year or so that at least mention Campbell. I haven’t sought them out, he just laid the groundwork for a lot of the things that I am interested in. I have read and listened to so many interpretations that I thought I got the gist. What a fool I am.

Listening to Campbell talk here immediately makes me think of the lectures of Eastern philosophers and gurus. He speaks with knowledge that I have not unlocked yet. This is a man in the final years of his life filled with so much joie de vivre that it is impossible not to listen.

The Power of Myth is so universal and compelling that it feels like Campbell is speaking directly about your life and your interests. I might have to watch this once every 3 months.
