“All things must pass,
all things must pass away”
I found all of the topics discussed very interesting, especially all of the parts surrounding Indian culture, Georgie himself, Brian Epstein, and the rest of the Beatles.
There were topics i thought they would go into more depth with, for example George Harrison’s marriages and relationships, but i understand the direction Martin was going in.
My favorite clip was specifically the one where he is watching himself perform in the song “This Boy”. You can tell that he is so different from how he was back then and he has a softness towards that different part of his life. Sometimes I feel like George Harrison in that clip.
Overall the film is extremely well made and some of Martin Scorseses best direction to date. The songs are so perfectly placed it’s my favorite part about the documentary by far.
