Been watching this with my younger brother.
Visually incredible, but also obviously schlock made for 14 year olds. Have to love a love triangle between a man, a woman, and the tank.

Getting strong ACAB energy from this one
Dominion Tank police explores many provocative and relevant topics, like for example how protected the police should be and what consequences there can be to unsupervised police action. Well that’s at least what I thought but this is not any of that at all.
Yes, the police in the OVA are corrupt, sadistic, unsympathetic assholes who are almost as bad, if not worse, than the criminals; but instead of this being treated like a serious problem they play it off for shits and giggles.
Not to say the criminals were portrayed as the good guys, they were also all batshit and just all in all pretty much everyone here acts like a deranged psychopath.
But it works and it is one of the best things about the show. All the characters should be pretty unlikable based on their actions and morals but they all end up being pretty fun to watch so you end up liking most of them.
Apart from that the soundtrack is also incredible, while the animation is rather unremarkable.
Overall a fun watch with a poster that is actual crazy fan service bait.
