PAINFUL pacing. I know it’s a 3 part made for TV series and it was written for screen by Stephen but I feel the dreadful length does nothing but cripple it. Antagonist very Hannibal Lecter vibes and the inspiration is really clear. Hooked at the midway but had to fight to make it there

creepy & cold. this was right up my alley. atmospheric slow burn 90s stephen king with a most formidable villian. colm feore just eating it up.

Collective guilt + small-town paranoia are a recipe for success in the horror genre for me. Tim Daly and Colin Feore are a wickedly strong duo together. I would put Andre Linoge up there behind Hannibal when it comes to unsettling film villains. The tension builds with each secret revealed and the repeated ultimatum, “Give me what I want, and I’ll go away.” Can you say trolley problem?
