Too many characters, awful storyline, and the beast design was god awful.
If I wanted to see a dude of average height with a lion on his head I would’ve watched Lion king on broadway. At least with that I know what I’m looking at won’t cause me to avert my eyes in disgust.
That scene where his head floats above water and he opens his eyes to look at her….

This adaptation is the first ever to leave me questioning “why the hell would she confess her love to THAT!!?”
