Refreshingly earnest, not a single character that wasn’t memorable as heck, bittersweet but emphasis on the sweet. Someone clearly spent a LOT of time pondering moral philosophy while writing this— the show grapples with complex issues and ends up pretty satisfying in its ethics which is impressive!
Like our main characters in the final season, there were times when I wondered whether there was anything left to do in the good place. But I was ultimately invested in each of the many plot lines & I think the show ended perfectly— not too late & not too soon.
I understand why this is a comfort show for a lot of people it’s absolutely delightful to spend time in this world & with these characters.
