Definition of muddying the waters for it to seem deep. For a show thats taken me 4-days to finish.. I haven’t got a lot to say. it’s self-indulgent, visually headache inducing and paced like a dead horse. If this was a 90-minute feature, I might’ve liked it. It’s just too much Nicolas Winding Refn and not enough substance for what’s essentially a 12-hour long movie. 

Overall,
Copenhagen Cowboys was better and I wasn’t really into that either. The premise is certainly intriguing but this dude needs to chill on the cinematography and start focusing on character writing and good storylines.

this is extremely self indulgent and honestly it seems to want people to hate it but i guess there’s something to be said about how viewers choose to watch 13 hours filled with gratuitous violence and perversions of every kind. there isn’t really a discernible message but it really made me question the borderline sadistic nature of watching violence in film and tv. as one of the characters says: violence becomes erotic.
