Fuck where on earth to start. I loved this. This is will be something I reflect on daily. I really appreciate the central theme of love and the importance of community and family in this series (wasn’t expecting a sapphic subplot but I’m so happy there was one!!) the parallels between Frank-Roy Roy-Truckee… yeah wrap it up I’m cryin. THIS REALLY MADE ME MISS HORSERIDING. Why can’t I just be a cowboy?? Speaking of cowboys… Roy Goode you have my heart. His happy ending was very cathartic. Jack is so fantastic, especially how he displays that feeling of restrained yearning. It lost stars however mainly due to pacing and the sheer amount of lore covered across a short amount of time (might be a skill issue who knows)
The soundtrack was beautiful. The cinematography was beautiful. I really liked the detail of women led towns (even if all the main plot was about men 😭) Mary Agnes stood out to me as a fabulous character.
