James Acaster: Repertoire
Preparing myself to watch James Acaster in April and Repertoire is fucking brilliant. Just James being himself for over 3 hours. Thats all I need to say to get you to watch it. I love how his stories are blatant lies unlike other comedians. The way all of his jokes connect (especially in Recap) is incredibly clever. The final scene is quite a shift in tone, diving deep into psychology and the concept of existentialism. Still very funny. Tremendous.> “There’s four things you can be in life: sober, tipsy, drunk, hungover. Tipsy’s the only one you don’t cry during.”
