as someone who has been forced to watch Love Island more times than i'd like, this hits hard. might genuinely be the greatest parody i've ever watched. true genius. also the acting is so convincing. i'm not surprised that there are people in the youtube comment sections talking about how they thought it was real when they were kids.
i don't even log or rate miniseries on letterboxd but had to make an exception for this. it might sound weird but i actually feel an emotional connection with this series. it's so nostalgic for me.
