Small town girl Tuesday takes the midnight train to Alba City, leaving home for her dreams. There, she sees city girl Carole singing on a bridge.

Top producer Tao begins working with Angela, who's yearned for a music career. Carole and Tuesday sneak into a concert hall to practice their song.

With some trepidation, Carole and Tuesday agree to take Gus on as their manager. He hatches a plan to get them featured by the famous DJ Ertegun.

Gus's next plan to get Carole and Tuesday their big break is to make a music video. He buys a weird film directing bot and asks his ex-wife for help.

Tuesday's brother Spencer heads to Alba City to search for her. Gus implements Plan C: gigging for exposure! Starting with a one-song gig at a bar.

Gus somehow gets Carole and Tuesday a gig on the main stage at a huge festival. The catch: they're a standby act for the famous, difficult Joshua.

If new media fails, go old school! Gus gets Carole and Tuesday to try out for the amateur singing show, Mars Brightest. Tao wants Angela on it too.

Tao offers to track down Angela's stalker once Dahlia tells him all about it. Things come to a head as Angela takes the stage at the Cydonia Festival.

Carole and Tuesday start rehearsing for their performance as Mars Grammy nominees. Tao runs afoul of the law just as Angela's replica is completed.

With Tao arrested and her mother hospitalized, Angela is all alone. Carole and Tuesday struggle to come up with a song to close their album.

A suggestion from Crystal inspires the duo to write a new song for their Grammys performance. Dahlia's condition puts Angela's attendance in doubt.

After Skip gets arrested, the duo and their industry colleagues decide to create a supergroup song opposing Valerie's policies. Tao is still at large.

Tao appears to tell Angela the truth. With Carole & Tuesday's first album finished, the supergroup performance is scheduled for New Year's Eve.
