*Punk has always been political, even when it was full of posers and provocateurs. "Punk" is an amazing way to tell history of punk as a music genre and culture, with a great set of guests, and a unique way to humanize music characters through their own life history.
• It's so refreshing seeing elder alt/lgbt/poc artists, that still have a clear sense of their own style and non-conforming persona, even if they are mostly celebrities.
• Johnny Rotten is such a flawed individual, as a former-hater, I'm glad I watched this and got to see a glimpse of some of his vulnerable self.
• I knew exactly at what point Dave Grohl was going to show up, I did not expect Billie Joe Armstrong but I was expecting Frank Iero.*
