The last season really ruined this show for me. I have been watching weekly since the beginning and remember being so enthralled by this show. I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW FLICK MEMBERS THOUGHTS.
S3 was Sam Levinson being a complete wackjob and I had to close my eyes so often I had no clue what was going on and @Maddie gave me a synopsis each week.
S3 E7 was one of the WORST episodes of tv (if not the worst) i have ever seen, but I actually did not mind the finale episode. I might have some more thoughts after I sit with this for a while.
Notes below including spoilers:
- Cal playing a role in s3 just made me sad because you could tell the ALS was progressing
- the show really struggled without Labirynth soundtrack
- writers literally killed Nate’s storyline, the Nate you see in S3 is NOT the nate you see for the seasons before, they were too scared to make the bold choice they led up to
- Ali hands down the best and most interesting character
- controversial take but I thought the Cassie storyline kind of made sense and was interesting but Sam Levinson being creepy made the execution weird
- Rue’s death was almost too obvious? I never really knew where the story was going but I would have put a lot of money on that
- Fez prison breakout was RIDICULOUS and also upset me, not a good plot line
- what utility did jules even have this season and why did it seem like they were always trying to humiliate her???
- WHY IS EVERYONE SO SKINNY?!?

You spend the entire first season worrying that Rue will stop taking drugs. The role that made me stop seeing Zendaya as Rocky, and well deserved that Emmy. The first season shows you roots of behaviors and traumas. And clearly Labrith makes your mind integrate into all the mess that your eyes are seeing, great soundtrack.

So many things are wrong with this show. Some say it’s the drugs, affairs, self-harm, betrayal, etc. I don’t mind all of that, I am angry about the massive plot hole in season 2. What happened with the suitcase??? These writers better not disappoint in season 3. #euphoriasundaysarebacknextyear
