John Bobbitt, does it ever get exhausting being a shitty fucking person with that much delusion you think you’re a constant victim in every situation??

Lorena is an incredibly captivating documentary that’s equally infuriating to watch. It’s an absurd situation rooted in horrible abuse that was overly sensationalized for a lot of the wrong reasons.

It’s in many ways a technically average documentary and it was a bit longer than need be. Especially towards the end it grew somewhat fragmented and unfocused in trying to tie up all loose ends.

But nonetheless, it was very good in telling Lorena’s story. I honestly don’t understand why John Bobbitt would agree to take part in this as he’s just constantly ridiculed and bashed. But then again everybody kept saying he isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed.

Being a woman, it wasn't a big deal for us. You know, we're like, thinking, "God, what did he do to make her do something like that?"

how disgusting was to hear from """the victim's""" brothers' that they was ready to kill her, 'cause she did the worst thing that can happen to a man - took his penis

if you want to explain what a patriarchy means - look at the sentence above

no matter how many centuries, years would pass, women still be fighting for their lives

lorena is true heroine, god bless her

This documentary is super well made and very necessary as far as the important discussion of violence against women and victim’s rights in trials. But also, john wayne bobbitt should be publicly executed
