I really love most of the twists to this. Claus Bang is so fun to watch. There's lots of practical effects which I really appreciate. My only big complaint is the fact that sort of make Dracula queer but don't fully commit to it, especially in regards to the van Helsing gender-bending. I really like Agatha's character but making her a woman seemingly just so that they could make her and Dracula have a romantic connection rubs me the wrong way. They either should've committed to making them gay or not had the romantic connection. Blood vessel is my favourite episode, it's so fun to watch.

episode one? four and a half stars; episode two? three and a half stars; episode three? typical moffat-gatiss nonsense unfortunately. claes bang covered in viscera, snarling and licking blood off of a knife changed my brain chemistry at fourteen.

Ep 3. Twist made it a bit hard to get into but now upon a rewatch it defenitely became better, and the ending also felt slightly better this time.
