had to support my country's production even if it was late lol
so many mixed feelings, regarding mariam yall are focusing sm on the fact that layan "just bullied her" and maraim "killed her"
we are not even sure if mariam knew that exactly would happen and she showed remorse in s2 and 2nd of all layan didnt js bully her she abused her and tortured her like sm she hit her head so hard mariam started bleeding she nearly killed her and she didn't show any remorse the next day in fact she continued being horrible to her, not defending mariam but yh
and yall are giving TOO MUCH credit to layan for that nouf scene like what did yall thought she would do, ofc she wont leave her to get r@ped or smth, that's not smth "kind" or "good" that's an obligation tf but i did feel layan had that good in her in that scene
regarding s2 not much same thoughts as yall although i'm so neutral when it comes to shams mb

rewatched the whole thing and forgot the second season was released 3 years ago lol
first season: i liked rania. at least in the end she tried so hard to ask for forgiveness unlike layan and ruqayya (who kinda deserved their end btw) but well, the idea of the near end episodes is the phrase "an eye for an eye" when layan and her gang bullied tf out of mariam. noaf is pretty though but why did you have to switch up?
second season: it was a bit cringe, but i hated how they just randomly spoke english. also there were just clashes as usual, bullying, fatshaming and etc coming from an unlikable character named hiba (who names their kid that??) who unexpectedly (and i don't know why) had a change of heart in the end (crying over someone she literally fucking bullied the entire show lol). ngl i thought it would have some sapphic moment between nadeen and shams but then i realized the country its based in.
but anyway it was ok. it had certain issues mostly teenage girls experience but then some moments were cringe but lets move on. go ahead and watch it if you want.. and dont fucking use dubs Please just read the subtitles YOU can read subtitles you don't need dubs its better that way
