Also how things worked in the wells didn't make much sense to me. For example when they die they just come out and can go back in again but since they don't have any memory each time they go in how do they always manage to adapt to the things that kill them? They had a bit were they did address this but their reason was just "they're a good detective", so why couldn't they avoid it the first time? Wouldn't have been a better reason was that they have some little memory of the first time and instinct takes over or something 🤔
