this was soooooo intense
Phenomenal writing,and the performances are just as amazing from most of the cast and it kept me engaged the whole time even though I was confused during the first couple of episodes but it stayed interesting
It got soooo intense as it approached the end,especially ep6, the scenes at the church where it all fell apart,I was losing my shit like i was in there with them,and on a personal level I just wanted Bev to be KILLED like pllleaaaasssssssss
although the soundtrack, writing, cinematography were all perfect, I’d say my favorite part of this series is how it represents religions,and how personal one’s beliefs are and that it’s not only rules in books that we partly follow,but a whole spiritual experience that guides a person’s choices in life and so much more than how I can put it, but Mike Flanagan was able to deliver these ideas through beautiful horror and interesting stories without shoving them down your throat
