This is literally the best documentary ever. I’ve been familiar with Ted Bundy for years, but didn’t know too much about his victims, and this really changed that.
Rather than focus on who Bundy was, we learn about his victims, whether it be their family and friends, or survivors speaking out.
We also get to hear from Bundy’s ex-girlfriend, Elizabeth, and her daughter who he helped raise, Molly. I thought the two of them had really interesting perspectives. I’d heard about the two of them before, but I thought it was really great hearing from them directly. We also heard a bit from Bundy’s mom and brother, which again, were super interesting.
All the victims are given so much respect in this documentary, and I hope future docs take cues from this.
