Sinners

somewhere along the way, it started feeling predictable and the twists didnt really land. visually, its striking, and the performances were great, but i just wanted more weight to it all, especially with mary and stack’s characters. so much more couldve been done and the story itself couldve been stretched out longer with more substance. still really enjoyable and worth watching though with very strong themes and powerful imagery.
