Interstellar
*"Endurance rotation is 67, 68 RPM."
"CASE, get ready to match our spin with the retro thrusters."
"It's not possible."
"No. It's necessary."*
It took me three viewings to fully click with Interstellar and give it 5 stars. What used to feel overly ambitious now lands with clarity and emotional weight.
On this watch, the emotional core hit harder. The idea of time as something you lose is always devastating. Cooper’s relationship with Murph carries a pain that lingers throughout the film.
The action set pieces, the score, the visuals, are all fucking incredible. Hans Zimmer’s music haunts the whole film. And the final act feels bold, intimate, and strangely beautiful.
Interstellar is the kind of film that has grown with me. On my third watch, everything finally aligned, and it earned its five stars.
