Scream

Rewatched for the twenty ninth anniversary. This movie is complete perfection. When I say it is never boring and flies by, do not take that lightly. The opening scene is terrifying and sets the mood for the whole film. I really loved the dynamic between the friend group. They look and talk like real teenagers. Sidney’s backstory is tragic and adds a lot of depth to her character. Her and Stu stood out the most to me. She is so cool in this movie, and Stu is Stu. He’s cool, and the funniest character in the film. The Ghostface design is unbeatable. And all the chase sequences in this movie are great. My favorite kill is the garage scene, I love how horrifying it is. The final reveal is perfect, and ties the whole story together perfectly. Every time I rewatch I love looking for all the clues. I 1000% recommend this. My fourth favorite film of all time!
