2 or 3 weeks into university and I had the chance to watch this with one of my original homeboys. They didn’t like it as much as me but what are you gonna do.
So much here man. I love everything about this. The charm of nostalgia, the message of growing up and having to be okay with it, the characters who all represent different things. I seriously won’t love an anime more then flcl. It can’t get better than this. It is an all time great.
Like always, the scene where Naota swings the bat with crazy sunshine playing in the background is so damn powerful.
