-Director's Cut "As I was, you are. As I am, you will be." An absolute favourite of mine that hits as hard, if not harder on a second viewing. A true horror masterpiece. However, I have decided that the theatrical cut has the best ending, with Cusack hearing his daughter's voice on the tape recorder. The director's cut is the most widely circulated copy of the film, but the death ending just isn't my favourite (still amazing though). Also where was John Cusack's Oscar for this performance!?
