Backrooms

2nd viewing - this time in Dolby - this is a damn near masterful piece of set design and tension, only wish they fleshed out a sync a tad bit more  I have no idea why everyone online is flaming the plot,  it definitely doesn’t hold your hand but is not self congratulating or too conceptual - just a right mix of both  As a person who watched every YouTube video years ago, it does a stellar job of explaining how the backrooms work, and clarifies a lot of the lore I was fuzzy on previously  For a first time director this is absolutely mind blowing, color grading is intentional and a atmospheric, while the mix of camera formats immerses even further  This year is shaping up nicely after an early slow start, great time to be a movie lover  Will rewatch for a third time tommorow in 4DX, can’t wait
