Love Actually
"Where's Rick? Don't care. Where's Rick?"
Sadly there wasn't much Rick (Mark) In this film than i expected. They could have gotten SO much more out of Juliet's and Mark's story, since i think they kinda left their story unfinished. I was going into this film thinking it's one of those goofy Christmas romances like most Christmas films are, but i really was stunned, it was way more than that. It was funny, full of fun drama and different in a good way. I loved that this film wasn't full of those boring conversation moments. They managed to make every scene interesting and make every scene have impact on the story bringing us more drama every second. I love how this is like 10 films packed into one giving us multiple love stories. David and Natalie's, Karl and Sarah's and Mark and Juliet's (i'm biased towards Rick) were the best out of this film, the others were amazing as well. the first act was the strongest in my opinion. The characters were introduced perfectly and fast. There was no boring side stuff going on, it was straight to the point. They actually managed to give us a lot of character devolment for each character since that's hard asf to do when there's 10 different stories to tell out of these characters. This is a feel good film for sure and is one of the best christmas films ever made.
Deserved 5/5.
