Before Sunset

Every time I watch this movie it gets closer to making me cry. Even though I watched this a couple weeks ago, I had to watch it again with my friend considering we watched Before Sunrise yesterday. There are so many all time iconic film lines in this movie that it makes me want to scream, why is no one else making romance films the way Richard Linklater did with this trilogy? I especially love how this film takes place in real time. It’s a small thing but there are no time jumps or cuts in it. They definitely work for the first film but this one progressing naturally along Jesse and Celine’s walk through Paris makes it feel even more real and adds to the pressure of Jesse’s flight being just hours away. This movie is just so well done, I could rewatch it right now, love it just as much, and probably get something new out of it.
