Yeah this deserved an Oscar nomination, easily the most moving of the 28 franchise and the memento amoris scene is one of my favourites in cinema, it’s so beautifully shot and acted by everyone, including a THIRTEEN year old Alfie Williams who gives one of the best performances of 2025. People may complain about the endings tonal whiplash, the two halves of the movie being contrasting but on a rewatched I realised that I just don’t fucking care, this movie is superb and the fact it has a 3.4 average is moronic. An absolute masterpiece from start to finish
