Moonlight

Still one of the most beautiful movies of all time, both thematically and visually this movie leaves me stunned at points, the superb use of colour is some of the best in cinema, the use of time within the narrative is so perfectly done and paced it almost feels as if you’re growing up with Chiron. The themes of isolation due to queerness and feeling lost is done on such a perfect level that encapsulates such a raw and uncomfortable aspect of queerness that many movies simply stray from. One of the best coming of age and queer films of all time and will be admired for decades to come.
