Superman

“sorry, chum.” fourth time’s the charm, right? i haven’t found a film this rewatchable in a super long time. the whole cast is so phenomenal and despite there being so many little side plots and characters, nothing feels overstuffed and bloated at any point. this log i want to highlight the jimmy olsen shenanigans in this film. my entire theater was hollering every scene with him and rightfully so. generational gag from james gunn of having jimmy be an unintentional chick magnet. the whole justice gang are hilarious as well. nathan fillion is so perfectly cast and i love how dumb their team dynamic is. still can’t believe i got to briefly meet/work with isabela merced and i am so glad she is getting roles like this in the spotlight. i really have said too much on this film and someone needs to take away my a-list privileges asap. “sorry kid. superman couldn’t make it, so you got an upgrade.”
