it takes a special kind of brain damage to predict the punchline to the jokes in this movie, not because the jokes are predictable but because stephen chow and i are on the exact same wavelength when it comes to the dumbest, deranged comedy presented here. move along kung fu hustle, THIS is the best stephen chow directed "kung fu" movie. it's hilarious, heartfelt, and most importantly really really dumb. minus one star for being unnecessarily mean to 阿梅 though.
