best film ever made, genuinely my absolute favourite film. Asami is such an amazingly written character & this film is just so beautiful & tragic. gets better every rewatch, Takashi Miike is an absolute master & Eihi Shiina is such a great actress, especially in this film. seeing this at the cinema made me appreciate it all the more, absolutely a masterpiece & my favourite film of all time. also, Asami STILL did nothing wrong smh
