BEEF

really good show, on the cusp of 4 stars for me. Steven Yeun is phenohmeenal🙌🏽. terrific actor. just thought the dialogue is kinda wack a lot of the time and sometimes over-explains the themes or the characters' inner emotions.  first 4 or so episodes are really fun. the show sort of starts in a certain genre and aesthetic and ends up in a different one, but it's done quite naturally given the course of the plot (which again goes in weird places). it's just tonally a bit weird i think, but i still had fun. really loved how it was shot, and those title cards are cool asf. last shot of the show is also so good. i love me a good last shot.
