Normal People
I think about the book so different. It’s weird. I love the show, the cinematography is beautiful, the acting is amazing, the music complements it so well, the crude sex scenes and the straight forward conversations.
This is an amazing story, that it doesn’t matter how you tell it, it’s always going to be so easy for me to connect with it. The characters have so many things that I relate to; from Conell's insecurities to Marianne’s auto esteem.
We romanticize being sad so much, this relationship is a sad one, they’re never fully together and when they are they always find a way to mess it up. I feel this is one of those love stories where they’re not the end but the journey. They grow up with each other and teach each other so much. That’s what’s important.
They might see each other again, they might not. I think the important thing from this story is that they left each other in a better place. They did so much for one another. Their love is going to be always a part of each other.
