BEEF

Season 2 Let’s start with the good, it’s entertaining, there are some good characters, it’s thematically sound, and overall cohesive and retained some personality. There are just some issues I have, the cinematography and dialogue at times lack a sense of inspiration or sauce, it misses some beats many of which feel unearned, and while the show is thematically sound about its critique and display of love, relationships, capitalism and the people in it along with the cycles that follow, it all came across a little half baked. Overall I liked it, it’s no True Detective S1 but it’s solid with some true standout moments. +points for having Charles Melton, he’s so hot.
