As hypnotic as the end of 2001: a space Odyssey In my research for my project on Chantal Ackerman, she cited Michael Snow as one of her biggest influences. This was so strangely scary to me every time the color changed it felt like I fell down a new circle of hell. I have no idea what this was filmed on or how these effects were done, but there is a short list of films that made me feel whatever this did and oh my God the sound design I think this is especially where this becomes so effective it’s something  like Inland Empire and again the haunting Orchestra pieces from 2001 a space Odyssey mixed together. regardless it puts me in an absolutely terrifying, hypnotic trance seeing the room, go from something somewhat recognizable to absolutely otherworldly by the end had me on the edge of my seat.  I was also scared the entire time I was going to get a noise complaint from the sounds of this film lol. by far my new favorite strictly experimental film damn Chantel Ackerman had taste
