The Lighthouse

The countdown to Nosferatu begins now. Really it’s a clock that has been running my entire lifetime, I used to pray for times like this. In a few days I’ll see original accompanied by a live orchestra which is another experience I’ve been anxiously awaiting for. I’m envisioning a culmination of absorption for me to result in something that can’t be replicated come Christmas this year. A complete masterclass in acting, lighting, imagery among a barrage of other things in my opinion of course. I may have had a few drinks this evening which I almost never do and I don’t think I blinked watching this. I swear this man Robert Eggers has invented teleportation, just sit down and let it happen. Now you more than likely will end up in a mystical nightmare built off comparative religious beliefs, folktales and mythological interpretations that will make your head spin, yet it’s like you need to get a closer look by stepping into these one for one replications of humanity’s abyss. So unbelievably funny and makes me understand myself more every single time, how it manages to get better after I’ve been essentially studying this for years now is something I can only be truly thankful for.
