Barbie

Wow. That was not what I expected. There’s definitely elements of The Truman Show and The Lego Movie sprinkled within there, but it’s also so incredibly unique. Going in I knew I was going to like it, the trailers, cast and everything else sold me, but walking out, I’m amazed. It’s so hilarious, inspiring, complex and heartfelt. You feel the genuine passion in each frame. Greta Gerwig’s direction remains amazing, as does the lead performance from Margot. But as to be expected, it was Ryan Gosling who stole the show for me. His Kenergy is unmatched. So glad this lived up to my expectations. Will definitely be returning to Barbie Land in the future!
