“When I found out the patriarchy wasn’t about horses, I lost interest anyway.” I was worried I’d like this less after all this time, but I can’t lie, I had even more fun with it. The comedy is genuinely funny, and watching it at Uni with a crowd cemented it as such. The soundtrack is incredible, and the emotional beats hit well. Sure, there are definitely flaws, but I’d be lying if I said that it wasn’t an incredibly entertaining time. And sometimes, that’s all a film needs to be.
