Jaws

“You’re gonna need a bigger boat.” There’s nothing more to be said that hasn’t already been said. It’s iconic. And to make it even worse, just think, this was Spielberg’s first blockbuster. Like, how are we to compete with his talent? From his direction, to the performances, and cinematography. It’s all masterfully created. The shark itself holds up incredibly well and the suspense created throughout is just marvellous. Paired with Williams’ score, which is amongst the most iconic film scores, and it gives you goosebumps. To simply put it, Jaws is a masterpiece.
