Jaws

“Smile, you son of a bitch!” Jaws is one of the most influential films to me. It’s utterly incredible that Spielberg at the age of 25 made the summer blockbuster. It’s a film that fills you with a sense of dread throughout from Williams’ iconic score to Butler’s dynamic cinematography. Spielberg is simply a master of the art form; he knows exactly when and where to place the camera and how to manipulate the audience to feel everything he wants them to. No one does it like him.
