Otherworldly. Gerry is everything I love about film I think it's funny seeing and knowing how much this movie was influenced by the work of Bela Tarr, and I haven't even watched anything by him. I have a feeling I'm gonna have a lot of fun diving into Satantango, The Turin Horse, Werckmeister Harmonies and more. I feel the way about Gerry kinda to a similar way I feel about The Tree of Life. Not that they are similar in any directorial way, but there is this feeling that happens for me personally that words or a review just simply won't cover. It's like something in your bones. It's something that we all know is there, and we can recognize it when it appears, but have no definition. This movie means the world to me. I cannot wait to keep watching it over and over again
