Brick

Before there was a Knives Out, Rian Johnson made Brick a detective/neo-noir story. Brick like many many of Rian Johnson’s other films this is one is expertly told thanks to Rian Johnson’s fantastic screenplay filled with many of what Rian Johnson is an expert at twists and turns. An incredible performance by Joseph-Gordon Levitt as it differentiates from some of the movies he did before this. My one and only gripe with this movie was the cinematography it’s certainly not bad, but I just think it’s somewhere in between. But besides my one and only nitpick Brick is a damn perfect film that to anyone that hasn’t seen it needs to seek this out now
