Before Sunset

I'm not quite sure what to say, I feel like everything I said about the first film stands true here, in a way this is the perfect sequel, it was so nice and comforting to see these two people just talk and catch up, to find out what happened after that promise, to be devastated and find out what happened regarding that promise even though a part of you knew that was what was going to happen. I felt that the ending overstayed its welcome a little but at the same time I think that was the point, to see these characters needing to leave but just trying to stay just a few minutes longer because they don't know if they ever will see each other again. The long shots were beautiful and did an amazing job at keeping you in the moment with these characters and the little things like when Celine tells jessie that they have to take this turn, it's just the little things like that that really bring the whole thing to life, and damnit I really want to go to a random ass coffee shop in France now, I don't even care if I don't drink coffee! Minus half a star because I wanted to hear celines song that she wrote about her cat.
